As the queen of Louisiana, Sophie-Anne was no stranger to throwing a great party. And the bigger the party, the better, since it meant a wider variety of potential people to feed upon. But the moment she stepped into the room tonight - fashionably late, so that the party was already in full swing - her attention was grabbed by one particularly enticing scent.

After a long moment of scanning the crowd, Sophie-Anne found the woman the scent was coming from. “You smell amazing” she said, giving the blonde a smile that showed her extended fangs. “Who are you?”

The young woman's eyes widened in surprise. But to her credit, she didn’t seem very afraid of the vampire. “I’m Hadley,” she said after a long moment.

“Well Hadley, I’m Sophie-Anne. And you’re mine.” As the queen of Louisiana, Sophie-Anne didn’t believe in sharing. Was it selfish? Yes. But she suspected Hadley was going to be her new favorite human. As she kissed the blonde, the taste on her lips only confirmed her suspicions were correct. “Come with me, Hadley,” she said, leading the mysterious younger woman away from the crowd and towards her bedroom, the party forgotten behind the two of them.
