“Ready to give up?” Lydia asked, a smile on her face as she attempted to pin Isabelle to the wall. They were sparring in one of the Institute’s training rooms, and Lydia seemed to be winning.
“Never” said Isabelle, before pressing a kiss to Lydia’s lips. The blonde, momentarily distracted by the kiss, loosened her grip on Isabelle enough for the other woman to slip out of her grasp.
“Hey, that’s not fair” said Lydia, pouting.
Isabelle shrugged. “Shadowhunters never surrender. And we don’t have to fight fair, either.” She got the upper hand on Lydia before kissing her again.
