Of all the qualities that made Nancy who she was, one of the biggest was her inability to let things go. Which could be good or bad. At the moment, Robin thought it was a bad thing.

“Seriously” Nancy said. “Who did that to your neck?” She pointed to the hickey there.

Robin had originally tried brushing off Nancy’s question by telling her it was a mosquito bite. But Nancy was not stupid.

After a long moment, Robin finally said “Chrissy.”

Nancy’s eyes widened in surprise. “Chrissy. You mean Chrissy Cunningham? Cheerleader Chrissy Cunningham?”

Robin slowly nodded her head. Then she said “But Nancy, you can’t tell anybody.” Neither Robin or Chrissy were ready to deal with the entire town knowing about them.

Nancy gave a small smile. “Of course. Your secret is safe with me.” Nancy was happy for her friend. “But we should probably find you some concealer.”
