The moment Allison heard Lydia was missing, she’d thrown herself entirely into finding the redhead. And when she came across her friend wandering the woods, she felt a huge weight lift. Only to be replaced by another one when Lydia began sobbing that she was losing her mind.
Wrapping her arms around Lydia, Allison took a breath. “You aren’t going crazy.” She knew telling Lydia the truth was risky, but she couldn’t lie to the other girl any longer. “It’s real. Everything that’s happened is real.”
Allison didn’t know how Lydia had survived the bite without becoming a werewolf. But she wasn’t going to let the girl she loved think she was crazy. Slowly, she began to tell Lydia everything that had happened to her since moving to Beacon Hills, hoping that when she was done Lydia wouldn’t think Allison was crazy too.
When Allison was finally finished, Lydia stared at the brunette with wide eyes. Then she said “You know, for a smart person, I can sure be dumb. Now that you’ve explained it, I can’t believe I didn’t realize the supernatural was real until just now.”
Allison chuckled, holding Lydia tighter and kissing the top of her head.
