Despite Bella and Rosalie’s honeymoon starting off perfectly (even better than Bella imagined was possible), nothing in Bella’s life ever went entirely according to plan. Which was why she wasn’t entirely shocked to wake up one morning to discover the house on Isle Esme was hot. Not to mention extremely humid.

“The air conditioning went out overnight while you were sleeping” Rosalie explained from where she was laying in the bed next to Bella. “Someone is coming out later today to look at it.”

Bella snuggled up to her wife. Instantly she felt cooler, Rosalie’s lack of body heat basically working as her own personal ice pack. Smiling at the blonde, she said “I guess we’ll just have to stay close to each other until they get here.”

Rosalie pressed a kiss to her wife’s forehead. Then she said “I had a feeling that was going to be your response.”
